The Kubasaki High School Class of 1976, last hosted an Kubasaki All-Class Reunion in Orlando, FL in 2001. That Reunion was a huge success, we had great weather, a great location, lots of fun things for friends and family to do in the area. With all the Reunions of late, being held on the West Coast or in Las Vegas, while there is nothing wrong with those locations, a few of us who organized the last Orlando Reunion were approached by several KHS Alumni and asked if we would organize another Kubasaki High School Reunion to be held on the East Coast.
After much thought, all the same reasons to hold a reunion in Orlando previously were still valid and it was decided to host another All-Class Reunion back in Orlando, FL again, on the Columbus Day Holiday Weekend. In Florida, this is the Low Season for Tourists. This means hotel room rates are lower, flights into Orlando are cheaper, most of the summer visitors have left and the winter visitors haven't arrived yet. Because we are planning if for the Columbus Day Weekend, it gives those folks with children a chance to bring them along for a long weekend, with shorter lines at Disney World, Universal Studios and lets not forget the new "Wizarding World of Harry Potter" Theme Park, including Hogwarts Academy. For you football fans, if we are lucky, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have a home game that weekend and I will be able to get discounted tickets for those that are interested. Depending on the numbers, we would charter a bus from the hotel and be dropped off at the stadium. After the game the bus would take everyone back to the hotel, allowing individuals to still fly out of the Orlando airport or drive home on Monday ,which is the Columbus Day Holiday.
Please join us in Orlando, FL to help the the class of 1971 celebrate their 40th, the class of 1976 to celebrate our 35th, the class of 1981 celebrate their 30th and the the class of 1986 celebrate their 25th.
